Energy Supply Concept
When is an Energy Supply Concept required?
The Energy Supply Concept (also referred to as feasibility study) is a requirement for new build projects with a reference surface for energy efficiency larger than 1000 m2.
How is the Energy Supply Concept established?
The requirements are listed in detail in the RGD of 30.Nov. 2007 (residential buildings) and in the RGD of 31.Aug. 2010 (non-residential buildings).
The Energy Supply Concept provides a decision tool for the owner or promoter of a project. It compares the effort, environmental efficiency, investments and operating cost of different energy supply options for a project. From that, the most optimal systems technologies can be chosen on the basis of environment (sustainability) and economy.
Cost
The cost of establishing the Energy Supply Concept is based on the size and complexity of the project. Contact us for a non-binding quote.
